Iron works very well. Bought upon favorable review by major consumer research organization. Note to any purchaser: thumbwheel goes up to a setting of "6", so look for that number if you want maximum heat. Don't take this note as anything negative about this product -- nothing is wrong with the thumbwheel operation. Just something to look for when you first use the iron.

I bought this iron after I returned a rowenta. This iron is very affordable and I think it does a better job than other more expensive brands.
